This is our 34th, who ever would have thought it? By the end of our 33 year we had totalled up an amazing 872 events since starting back in 1975, whatever the magic is of the Billerettes, it is still there.

2008 ..The highlight of the Billerette year just has to be our own carnival sixteen Billerettes take to the streets supported by the Dronfield St John Marching Band . The conbination makes a good mix, the smartness and strict regimentation of the band and the not so precise Billerettes.

Yesterday, once the team had finished their involvement as part of the Hazel Grove Carnival, they went down the road to the Cherry Tree Hospital in Stockport where Billerette Flag Girl Audrey Weston has been a patient for the past few months in the Devonshire Neurorehabilitation Centre. The Centre was in need of some items for their Garden, A gazebo, outdoor games etc., the Billerettes presented them with a cheque for £500.

Esther King receives the Cheque on behalf of the centre from the Team watched on by retired Billerette Bob Weston, husband of Audrey.
