This is our 34th year, who ever would have thought it? By the end of 2008 we had totalled up an amazing 896 events since starting back in 1975, whatever the magic of the Billerettes is, it is still there.

2008 ..The highlight of the Billerette year just has to be our own carnival sixteen Billerettes take to the streets supported by the Dronfield St John Marching Band . The conbination makes a good mix, the smartness and strict regimentation of the band and the not so precise Billerettes.

2009 Another year starts!

In march the team were invited to entertain the ladies that the Mayoress of Ashton-u-lyne had been invoved with during her husbands Mayoral year, with an audience of approximately 200 ladies and I think just 2 men we couldn't fail.

As we made our entry onto thefloor of the hall the whole room erupted into unbridled cheers, clapping and shouts, not what one would have expected. As we progresses through our display the room seemed to resemble a scene from some great film epic, featuring the amphitheatre in Rome back in the days of the gladiator just at the point of a kill, many of the guests were on their feet and clapping along to the rhythm of our music.

We have also just entertained at two birthdays one an 18year birthday Heather Allerton and the other an 84year old Tommy reddy
